The
Journal of Extension is the peer-reviewed publication of the
Cooperative Extension System. It seeks to expand and update the
research and knowledge base for Extension professionals and other adult
educators to improve their effectiveness.

- Program evaluations that are useful,
feasible, accurate, and conducted with propriety.
We are committed to motivating Extension
professionals to achieve their maximum potential as educators through the
development of their program and evaluation skills.

The
Program Development and Evaluation Unit provides leadership in program
development and evaluation that enables Cooperative Extension campus and
community-based faculty and staff to plan, implement, evaluate and report
high quality educational programs.

This
site provides information to design and implement a useful program
evaluation in order to improve a program, compare delivery methods,
respond to stakeholders, advocate, and prepare for promotion.
The information derives from
continuing questions and requests from county educators and faculty in PA.
The information is based on methodological research and theory, and on
twenty years of experience evaluating extension programs.

Welfare Foundation |
The
Public Welfare Foundation is a non-governmental grant-making organization
dedicated to supporting organizations that provide services to
disadvantaged populations and work for lasting improvements in the
delivery of services that meet basic human needs. Grants have been awarded
in the areas of criminal justice, disadvantaged elderly and youth,
environment, population, health, community and economic development, human
rights and technology assistance.
